About the Village Hall
Poulton Village Hall was given to the village in 1932 by Major Mitchell the then owner of Poulton Priory. The hall is a converted Cotswold stone barn sitting perfectly within its village setting, located in the heart of the village, between the village pub and church and adjacent to an open green space with a children's play area. It is used for village events, coffee mornings, exercise classes, film shows and more.
It is regularly hired for events due to it's range of modern facilities. It is licensed for 80 seated at tables or dancing together with outside space including a lovely wooden gazebo and seating, perfect for outdoor drinks. It has a well equipped modern kitchen, a curtained stage, audio visual facilities and excellent wifi. There is a serving hatch between the main hall and the kitchen area for use as a bar.
The Hall has alcohol, film, performing rights, live and recorded music licences. While the hall has Limited parking space to the rear of the building (2-3 cars for loading/unloading), there is space to park in the street alongside. The hall is a perfect venue for both indoor and outdoor events.
